We breed, raise, show and sell Boer Goats in Pierce County, Washington, close to the small town of Graham.
Our first Boer Goats were obtained strictly to eat the brush at the back of our property. We tried for years to conquer the problem with chemicals and weed eaters and had very limited success. Goats are environmentally friendly, brush control specialists. Their success with the project was amazing!
When we brought the first Boer Goats home, we found that they were Brush Eating Machines! Plus they provide excellent entertainment. Right out our back door we have performing clowns, gymnastic competition, drama and playful sparring every day of the week! We also enjoy the beneficial health qualities of Chevon, Capretto or Cabrito (goat meat). We have finally discovered the delicious recipes using goat meat that 70 percent of the world has enjoyed for years!
Now we are striving to obtain a quality herd of Fullblood Boer Goats. Our goal is to breed hearty foundation stock of show quality. Keeping this goal in mind will achieve the original purpose of the Boer Goat, a healthy meat animal. To keep our herd to the optimum size for our property, each year we will sell stock for showing, breeding, pets, brush eaters and meat.
